Very disappointed with food my fish and chips was mostly batter and no fish, all of the tables and chairs are very dirty and sticky, when asking staff to clean a table, they didn’t bother. one of the staff also walked past us with a backpack (assuming to begin their shift) and hit my sister in the face with the bag without any regard or apology.

I wanted to try classic fish & chips. What I experienced was dirty awful tables and not so freshy meals. Finidng clean table was a challange. My first and last visit in this mess. I cant recommend to anyone.

Disappointing Visit and Poor Service at a Restaurant. The food quality was very poor especially fish and chips, battered fish was disgusting and burned. Tables ware dirty.

This is a pretty good Wetherspoons. The usual sticky tables and menus but the service is good and the food is tasty. The pub is decorated nicely and the outdoor seating area is nice enough. It'd be great if the clientele could keep the pub tidy and also not to leave rubbish and cigarette butts about the place.

Sloppy service. I ordered two meals on the wetherspoon app and only one arrived. When we checked with staff they found that it had been standing under hot lights in a counter, but the food was cold.
When a replacement dish was brought the food was also cold.
Furthermore the app offers the option of a straw with the drink but that didn't come. I think I will avoid this place now.
In the end I had to demand a refund. You have been warned.

I was hoping since my original review that the service here would have improved but it seems to be getting more sloppy. A member of my party had ordered apple pie and ice cream. The apple pie was brought without ice cream with words along the lines of: "sorry we don't have ice cream." He didn't offer to take it back or give a refund to my friend who has mobility problems. He had to go back to the counter because the server left without seeing if he was happy with this state of affairs. Once again I say: you have been warned! I have to leave a single star for service because there is no way of my giving a zero.

Has improved no end compared to what it used to be like ...not always a decent range of real ales & someone needs to take responsibility for today's cock up with regards to Luton Town v Watford. Place was rammed & only 2 people behind the bar & I serving food...its not rocket science

Food took an absolute age to arrive and when it did most of it was fridge temperature cold. Promised a refund but still not received. Will never come again and will warn others not to bother. Will stick to my local faltless Wethers in future.

Sad to say this pub has been pretty awful the last three times we've visited. Went during a not particularly busy time and couldn't get a table because there was all food / plates left on the tables. Bar queue backed up nearly out the door and when the food did finally come was of a poor standard. Staff we just standing round behind the bar not doing anything and clearly ignoring the mess.
Made a complaint and was promised my money back by the manager who then proceeded to ignore my emails. To this day still haven't had a reply. That's service for you...

Had a meal here before going to the local theatre. Went for the fish and chips, couldn't fault it. Nicest Wetherspoons I've been to if I'm honest.
